It is amazing at the number of classic horror films that are now available on dvds. For years we had to purchase vhs tapes to get our fix of classic horror films. Luckily now you can find nearly all of your favorite classic horror films on dvd. If you want the most bang for your buck you can find bulk sets of classic horror films. Also you can find double feature dvds with some really great movies. I really love the early horror films that were in black and white. They seemed to have a character of their own. The atmosphere that is created in black and white is amazing. Then came Technicolor which totally changed the face of classic horror films. The vivid colors made the feel of these movies even greater. I especially love the gothic horror films such as the hammer studios films. These are still some of my favorite classic horror dvds. I have acquired quite a collection of these old horror films. I probably own somewhere around 100 movies on dvd. There are still some of the more obscure horror films that have never made it to dvd yet. Unfortunately I must still watch the vhs copies of these movies. I have made quite a hobby out of collecting classic horror dvds. I really enjoy finding these old movies that have fascinated me since I was a child. I hope that anyone that has found this site can come to enjoy classic horror dvds.
