BUY CLASSIC HORROR DVDS IN BULK

If you are looking to jump start you collection of classic horror dvds quickly and without breaking the bank look for bulk collections. I purchased a box set that contained 50 of the classics on dvd. This set has some of the best classic horror films ever made. The films are on about 12 dvds. Now the price of this collection was only around 20 dollars. Now the discs don't have fancy labels on them or come in the hard cases. They are in paper slips that come in a box, pretty plain and simple. If you want each movie in a nice case this may not be for you. However if you want one of the best collections of classic horror dvds this is the best value. If you are a die hard collector you may want the individual movies. But if you are a fan of the movies then this is the best bang for your buck.

Another option is the double feature dvds that are available. They usually have 2 movies or more on a disc, but you get the nice case and all the bells and wistles. You can usually pick up a double feature for about 5 dollars. This makes it a little easier to amass a large collection of movies for a fraction of the cost.

Of course the great thing is that these classic horror dvds are fairly inexpensive. The even better thing is that Ebay is the best place that I have found to purchase these classic horror films. I buy most of my dvds from ebay. You get an awesome selection of movies and they are usually extremely cheap. Plus if you are looking for a rare horror film or a foreign horror film then ebay is your best bet. I have bought some titles on ebay that I never thought I would ever find.

Ebay is also a good source of finding large lots of classic horror films. I purchased a few lots that contained 5 or 10 movies in each. These usually go for below retail prices. I notice that the bulk lots go for less per movie than by buying individual titles.

THE BEST OF CLASSIC HORROR ON DVD

It is amazing at the number of classic horror films that are now available on dvds. For years we had to purchase vhs tapes to get our fix of classic horror films. Luckily now you can find nearly all of your favorite classic horror films on dvd. If you want the most bang for your buck you can find bulk sets of classic horror films. Also you can find double feature dvds with some really great movies. I really love the early horror films that were in black and white. They seemed to have a character of their own. The atmosphere that is created in black and white is amazing. Then came Technicolor which totally changed the face of classic horror films. The vivid colors made the feel of these movies even greater. I especially love the gothic horror films such as the hammer studios films. These are still some of my favorite classic horror dvds. I have acquired quite a collection of these old horror films. I probably own somewhere around 100 movies on dvd. There are still some of the more obscure horror films that have never made it to dvd yet. Unfortunately I must still watch the vhs copies of these movies. I have made quite a hobby out of collecting classic horror dvds. I really enjoy finding these old movies that have fascinated me since I was a child. CLASSIC HORROR OF CHRISTOPHER LEE

When I think about dracula movies I think of christopher lee. Probably the most watched of all of my classic horror dvds. The films of Hammer Studios were some of my favorites. The look and the atmosphere that they created were like none other. The Dracula films that hammer studios made are still my favorite. I must say I loved Bela Lugosi as Dracula, but Christopher Lees take on the role is my favorite. When I first saw those hammer films I fell in love. Christopher Lee has definitely made his mark on the film industry. Even today he continues to act in parts that seem to have been created around his character. The neat thing about Christopher Lee is he comes off as a man of great power in all of his roles. His booming voice and stare have instilled fear in people for many decades. These are the qualities that I feel make his roles as Dracula so good. All of the Hammer Studio Dracula films are good so I highly recommend them to anyone. Now that they can all be found on dvd along with the other hammer films. Christopher Lees films are many and they have spanned a long career. Hopefully you will take a look at some of his work and find some favorite classic horror dvds.

VINCENT PRICE THE KING OF CLASSIC HORROR DVDS

When it comes to my favorite Classic Horror Dvds, Vincent Price made some of my favorite films. The classic vincent price films are some of the best that I have found. Especially the Edgar Allan Poe stories. Titles like The Raven, Fall of the house of usher, The pit and the pendulum, Tomb of Lygeia and Mask of the red death are some of the best. If you have never saw any of these movies you should. Vincent Price had a certain way of setting the mood of his films. His voice was probably his best known feature. If you have ever saw such Classic Horror Dvds such as Last man on earth, haunted palace and even his later films they were the standards of classic horror.
The great thing about his films are that now we can purchase them on dvds for practically nothing. These classic horror dvds can be bought extremely cheap. I have amassed quite a collection of Vincent Price movies on DVD. They just don't make horror films like the gothic horror of the past. The atmosphere that these movies created was like nothing else.
